Ministries

As believers we are called to be both salt and light to the world. As salt, we are used by God to create thirst in our communities by living transformed lives, drawing people to the living water found in Jesus. As light, we are used by God to be agents of his grace, illuminating the darkness through outreach and preaching the whole Gospel of God boldly and without apology.

  WORSHIP

At GAP Church our corporate worship time is focused on the praise and worship of God. Our worship team is not a performance team, but seeks to encourage the entire congregation to lift their voices to God in praise and to focus all of our attention on worshipping His awesome name.

  CHILDREN AND YOUTH

GAPKidz

We have great facilities and an awesome volunteer team in our Children’s Church ministry. We love our children and see them as important members of our church community.

On Sundays, a Baby Room gives privacy to feeding moms and babies.

Munchkins is a supervised program for pre-schoolers where they can enjoy the Bible through fun-filled learning. Children’s church give our 7 – 12 years an energetic, spiritual program with a focus on relevant topics.

Youth

We are a community of young people that loves God passionately, shares God with the world and knows that He transforms, renews and empowers us all. We meet on Friday nights from 19:00 – 21:30.

  HOMEGROUPS

The early church is described in Acts 2 as "devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."(Acts 2:42)

At GAP we strive to be a church that emulates the simplicity and devotion of the early church. For this reason, we actively encourage all our members to be involved in a homegroup where we can disciple and encourage one another.

  ENRICHMENT COURSES

These are exciting opportunities which stretch, challenge, and grow us as individuals, couples or groups. Included are Engagement Counseling, Marriage Enrichment, Parenting Courses, Grief Share, Divorce Care, Divorce Care for Kidz, Youth and Family Missions, Church Camps, and Men and Women’s Retreats.

  FELLOWSHIP EVENTS

Men's Fellowship

Our men connect over breakfast and camps. These light hearted times are underpinned by a serious desire to learn about the Christian life and to pray together.

Ladies' Fellowship

Regular meetings with prayer, encouragement and fellowship make this an important facet of GAP.

Evergreens

Our Evergreen fellowship is for the young-at-heart. With regular fellowship and social events, our Evergreen group recognises the ongoing contribution believers can make later in life.

Family Camps

Once a year we try to get away as a church family and enjoy the beauty of God's creation together. Our family camps involve the whole family and in addition to just having fun together, we enjoy times of worship and studying scripture.
